This is such a beautiful, gentle watercolour and yet the strength of the animal comes through. No wonder you wanted to paint her - she's a good looking gal!

A sheep in the field next to us just asked to be painted - she looked as though she thought she was beautiful! I also used a whole heap of new colours from Daniel Smith, which was great fun
