Thanks so very much, everyone! Alan, trust me, setting up my easel where I did was not the smartest idea! It was hot, humid and I ended up with sand everywhere - in my shoes, in my paintbox, my palette, my hair. There&#39;s something to be said about taking a photo and painting indoors! I don&#39;t know why I put myself through this everytime!

May have been uncomfortable Seok, but well worthwhile judging from the result. Super plein-air painting, love the calm warm atmosphere. You managed to leave the hot and humid out of the scene !

You&#39;ve answered my question about the sand Seok but what about spectators? Did anyone offer to buy it on the spot? I remember trying to do an oil on canvas ( 1metre square on an easel ) in the sand dunes. Of course it blew off, face down in the sand! Now I&#39;m trying again but keeping things to a minimum - so far, I&#39;m enjoying it. After all that... You&#39;ve succeeded very well, a lovely tranquil feel and great detail in the foreground. Next time I&#39;ll join you - you can paint, I&#39;ll enjoy an exotic cocktail.
