lovely gallery work every one is great

Another little gem Seok, I enjoy 'travelling' with you! and thanks for your comments on Alice.

Your paintings are always so interesting Seok and lovely for us to see here!

How wonderful to have someone waiting to hand you a cup of tea when you arrive at the hotel :-) makes it all so much nicer :-) this is a lovely delicate, and light, watercolour painting :-)

You are so lucky to visit all these wonderful and exotic places! I am actually amazed that you have mananged to get such a perfect expression on the man's face when the actual face is quite small within the painting - very hard to do. Lovely painting and such an interesting view of life in Sri Lanka - thank you for sharing it with us.

How interesting, thanks for your information Seok. A lovely painting again do you have a jurnal in which to keep all these treasured paintings.

Another beautifully painted cameo of life in Sri Lanka, Seok. I love the blue of his uniform and hope the tea tasted as good as this painting looks!

Great addition to your travelogue gallery, lovely!

Another lovely piece of work. I like the narrative and little stories that you always put with your paintings Seok. Thank you for sharing.

Totally charming Seok........

Another lovely little glimpse into the interesting life you lead Seok!

Thanks so very much everyone!

Lovely - I just fancy a cup of tea and a bit of the cake I made yesterday!

Another lovely addition to your gallery Seok.

Yet another lovely watercolour, interesting background story too.

Full of character and lovely, rich colours :)

A very interesting and charming portrait Seok. The waiter looks happy and content in his job and you have drawn/ painted him so beautifully.

Thanks very much, Gudrun, Val, Stephen, Sarah and Satu!

I was staying at the Heritance Tea Factory, a lovely hotel in Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka. The hotel was converted from the old Hethersett tea factory. The interior of the hotel was charmingly decorated with old pieces of equipment from the tea factory, and at the reception was a tea waiter, waiting to welcome arrivals with a cuppa. I loved his outfit, and his tea trolley, which was made to resemble the old tea-packing crates.
