This is as impressive as all your other watercolours Seok! They are always such a pleasure to look at :)

Lovely work Seok, great figurework emphasising the size of the building, lovely colours , thanks so much for your lovely comment on my Deer pastel portrait as well Seok

Lovely work Seok and interesting how you have used perspective in this one with the building tapering as it rises. It certainly works well although it is something I rarely do. I tend to keep all uprights parallel if you see what I mean - not technically correct but the eye accepts it as being accurate whereas it would look hopelessly wrong if you did this in normal foreground to distance recession

A beautiful watercolour painting of this impressive building Seok, I visited this cathedral when on a three day stopover in Singapore en-route to Australia a few years ago. How lovely to see your paintings again and I also really appreciate you taking the time to view my portfolio and post your kind comments.

Such delicate colours; I love the varied greens in the trees. Agree with Michael about the perspective - I'm never sure whether to use it or not. You're quite right here as it gives us the sense of majesty. Well done.

Lovely drawing and sensitive use of watercolour.

Great peaceful looking place, beautiful watercolour.

Thanks so very much, everyone! Michael and Avril, thank you for your very helpful insights. I have to confess I did not actually make the choice to paint this perspective - I simply did it because I couldn't manage the parallel upright lines! Architectural perspective is not my strong point - Im almost as bad at it as with greens!

God , this takes me back a bit! I' m not quite sure about the perspective, but the painting works as a good compostion . Well done Seok.

I was trying to comment on your beautiful orchids but as it already had 10 comments it wouldn't accept it, so here I go, beautiful painting, I love orchids but they always die on me.
