Thank you very much, Petra! This was one of my very early pieces, when my mastery of figure painting was pretty questionable (more like a lack of it)! Not that I am an expert now, but I do look back and think that my power of observation was obviously pristine for its never having been used!

I think this is a very exciting water colour - so different from the usual and beautifully executed.
