Looks good to me Michael, the contrast between the warmth of the sky and the coldness of the river works really well.

Delightful, really appealing. Ain't acrylics wonderful!

This is so full of movement and interest Michael and beautifully painted.

It's a beauty and worth all that extra work - the ice is SO good!

Beautifully painted!

Superb painting - you have captured the scene so well!

I can see why you are happy with this. It's beautifully painted.

Acrylic on canvas board. I must have painted this scene 4 or 5 times at least. This started off as a painting returned from the Gallery in Stow. It had been there a while . Having a good look at it I decided that it needed a total reworking - this is the joy of acrylic- a coat or two of gesso hides all errors!! This time I used a knife on sky and river and recomposed the scene. I am much more content with it now.
