Too Tired to Cheer
12 x10 ins on mdf. Spurred on by a chum who insisted that I should make a painting of a Catalina flying boat from WW2. I imagined the survivors from a merchant ship - adrift for days with little hope left - having no energy left to celebrate their imminent rescue. There is a ship in the far distance which will be directed to the lifeboat by the aircraft.
