You have definitely aught the ruggedness of the coastline and the flower of the sea . It certainly does not look flat the water seems to have depth and the rollers building up have hight, and are crashing against some really hard tough looking rocks. It’s what I would see and notice if I were sat there looking at the actual scene.

This has been on an off the easel for the last 10 days or so. It is adapted from a photograph sent to me by an old friend who now lives not so very far away from this wonderful scene. Luck lady! These seascapes are really my favourite pieces of work. The joy is to convince the viewer that they are looking at the sea in all its power instead of a flat 2D piece of acrylic painting. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
