16 x 12 on MDF. This was one of those stalled paintings. I had just finished the "Challenge at Dunkirk " and was rooting around the discarded boards and found this. It was an outline rough that I thought was going nowhere. I decided to work it up in a much looser style as an antidote to the tighter style of the Challenge. I'm happy with this now and it will be off to the gallery next week.
