Excellent use of colour, nicely done.

Fantastic sea and sky Michael, all the more for only being a practice piece done in less than an hour!! Brilliant

Your materials have worked well for you and you have produced a dramatic, incredible, seascape in such a short time.

Superb - far more than just 'practice'!

Lovely portrayal of light and movement of waves

That water looks brill.

Many birthdays ago.... I was given a pad containing sheets of canvas primed for either oil or acrylic. I have hardly ever used it, however today I decided to celebrate the reduction in temp and have a crack at painting a seascape at speed. I used a couple of tube Violets (also a gift) never before used, Naples Yellow, Cad Orange, Prussian blue+ white. 12 x 16 ins . It took under an hour to complete.
