No Easy Harvest
Based on a sketch made at Snettisham in Norfolk on a day out with the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists. It was an overcast day but mild with few people on the beach itself. The two men digging for worms, I assumed, were working so hard I thought the scene should be recorded. Those who know the area will see that I have fiddled with the position of the sunset! Limited palette of Yellow Ochre,Cadmium Yellow, Crimson, Ultramarine and Burnt Umber.
