It’s very satisfying to come back to an earlier painting and continue…I think we are no longer too close to it, more objective, and so can ‘finish’ what we started- ending more happy with the result. It’s a lovely painting Michael, full of light and colour and interesting brushstrokes.

Agree with Marjorie. Looking at this I feel as if I could be right in among these boats.

16 x 24 ins on canvas board. An old painting that needed reviving. As a rest for the aviation work of late I spent a happy couple of hours yesterday revisiting this one. It is in my back catalogue here I think. This one better reflects what I was trying to achieve with the first version.
