Thank you Michael! It's not a long river but mentioned a lot by D H Lawrence who was local to the area. I always forget the name looks funny : 'ear wash' because it is pronounced Erry wash! Glad you like the painting 😊

Watercolour, about a5 ish in size. The river Erewash is very beautiful despite it flowing through some old industrial areas. This particular spot is a reliable place to see a kingfisher - may attempt to paint one sometime!
