Fascinating composition Satu - very enigmatic the way the faces are blurred - reinforcing that they are anonymous - and the use of that glowing red makes the viewers' eyes travel all around the painting - LOVE it

I love the blurred faces, Satu - they add to the image of disconnect between the two ladies. It's a superb piece - speaks so eloquently of urban alienation and how one can be on a crowded train and yet be totally isolated. Brilliant!

I attended a workshop yesterday and the subject was People in action. I took a photo a couple of weeks ago in the London Underground of these two ladies sitting opposite me, turning their bodies away from each other. Here they are now on my canvas. The photo is not good at all but gives you the general idea.
