I have pics that dont want to be painted. But your perseverance has certainly paid off. I love the Birch tree bark and you have done it so well.

Gosh - I wish you could change your mind with watercolour like that!! This is beautiful - I love the way the light changes from the top of the trunks to the bottom. I also like the way you have used patches of colour to show the textures of the bark. A super painting.

Whatever it was before, you've arrived at a splendid result, Satu! I absolutely love this piece. The textures are so beautifully done, and those gorgeous hues in the background, with accents in the right places - a winning piece!
