I agree with Carol, whatever it is - it ain't dull. I like the creamy textures of your paint in this one, and of course those delicate colours.

Love the spontaneity you've achieved with the palette-knife strokes. Oh so many "greyed-down" colors you mixed so beautifully. Mixing colors and values is an art you do well. Lovely and NOT dull.
