So beautiful, such details. How long do you usually spend painting each day. I would love to do more but don’t seem to get the time. This standard must take hours.

"The mushroom is the elf of plants, at once magical and mysterious." - George Carlin. So pleased that I managed to get this little piece finished today. This painting is only 8 x 10" so the intricacies of the entangled forest floor have proved rather challenging and have tested my patience. However, it has definitely not put me off and I can't wait to paint more of nature's little jewels. 'Amanita', oil on board, 8 x 10" With thanks to Steve Owen for the beautiful reference image
