Today, I had the honor of gifting a portrait of the beautiful Martha for a very special birthday. Martha has faced significant challenges, having fought cancer once and potentially facing it again. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family during this time. Creating this portrait involved mixing numerous shades of gold to capture the subtle tone shifts in her coat, which proved to be quite a challenge. However, I found the process to be a valuable learning experience. Oil on board, 16 x 16"
