An excellent and highly personalised gallery bursting with atmophere and great awareness of infinite space. It's very impressive. Unfortunately, four uploads is the suggested maximum because too many push the images of others far into the receding distance, and regular punters are less likely to comment on any of your images, which would be a great pity as all your paintings are worth scrutiny and comment.

Just to echo Roger K's words - these are excellent watercolours, it's just that 7 in one go from the same artist does irritate people. Moving on from that, though - I wonder what paper you use? It looks a little like Arches - a geeky question but then: I am a geek. I do like all of these - the one with the red in the sky perhaps most of all.

Appologies. Obviously I should read the instructions more carefully !

I like this unusual perspective - it's different and has a lovely simplicity. You must live near me - I am in the Colne Valley near Colchester.

Lovely paintings Sarah all of them! I really like that kind of watercolours, gentle, mysterious, beautiful.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Valerie, I live in Brightlingsea !

From the series 'looking out to Mersea Island' Art print from original watercolour. From a series of watercolours inspired by the ever changing sky and sea looking from Brightlingsea out to Mersea and Cindery Islands. My daily walks are filled with wonder at how nature changes this view from hour to hour.
