Thank You Tony and karyl. I'm glad you like my painting, your comments gave me more confidence to explore the oil paint. I must say I'm more at ease with watercolor, but now I am more willing to paint with oil!

Thank You Dawn Broughton and Carole Swingler. This is the kind of sunset we usually enjoy in Mauritius. But this one is a picture I downloaded from the net and added a few 'Mauritian' touch to. I'm glad You like it.

This is my first oil study using brushes and knife after nearly 2 decades. I'm pretty satisfied with the sky but not so with the sea. I feel like something did not go as it should be. Any advice?
