So nice and bright

Ruth, absolutely love this, especially the colours - reminds me of my favourite children's storybook when I was very small. It was a fabric book and even the texture looks the same!

An absolutely delightful painting, Ruth! So much going on, and I love the conifer tree and the bees. There is so much character and style too, in the old lady's demeanour.

Makes you smile just to look at it - lovely painting, well composed; and I notice how thin and transparent the paint is, so you had to get the drawing dead right - and you did!
