This was painted for the July monthly challenge 'a play on words' on paintmyphoto (PMP). I decided to create a painting based on one of my favourite poems, 'The Hooves of the Horses' by Will Ogilvie. It is an acrylic-based painting, the poem has been hand-written on transparent paper and then glued on (a bit of a palava avoiding wrinkles!). Great fun to do - the challenges really help to stretch the imagination.
