Another experiment... This is a charcoal and pastel drawing on stretched canvas, which has then been sealed and covered with an acrylic medium containing fine sand particles. The sand medium gives a ghostly, otherworldly depth, which is very hard to photograph. It is based on one of Alex Lee Johnson's many fab photos, which can be found on the great reference website, PaintMyPhoto.
