Mountainside
This is a section from an acrylic painting on paper I was doing this afternoon. I decided to try and paint more freely from imagination after painting in a very detailed way for the past 2 paintings. It reminds me of the Lake District. Although this was a spontaneous painting from imagination, I have been painting similar scenes recently and thought about these as I was applying the paint. I used Winsor and Newton Galleria acrylics and a large soft flexible kitchen silicone spatula to apply them.
