Are those aeroplanes in the distance Rob!!.....Only kidding. Brilliant colours of those trees, nicely blended.

Thanks Peter. I wanted to use the trees along with the sand to emphasise a summer feel, so I wanted the greens to be bright. The dark trees really are that dark, which is what drew my attention to the view in the first place!

Fantastic seascape Rob

Very nice painting, Rob, beautiful beach scene. I like the colour of the sand and the shadows.

Thank you Petra!

Lovely work Rob, the strongly painted trees give contrast to the light beach and distant hills.

Rob this is lovely

Terrific. Great sense of light and distance. Accomplished as usual.

Absolutely beautiful

This is lovely Rob, I especially like the contrasting colours and tones on the shoreline.

Sure you did Rob with quality such as this.

Beautiful view with a lot of depth. Stunning greens, love it :) Mia

Two beautiful watercolours Rob, I think I may have painted on this beach a few years ago, I remember the pink-ish sand.

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments! What a lovely place to show work - I'm really grateful to everyone who took time to comment, and I'm glad you liked it!

An en plein air painting along one of my local (ish) beaches. It were quite a few more people than this and the oddball at the easel attracted quite a bit of attention on the beach!
