So many things to like about this painting- the beautifully painted buildings and the fabulous shadows in the foreground.

Very good work Stephen, the buildings work well and the trees frame them well. I like the tress shadow also in the foreground, which leads the eye to the buildings, also hinting at what is outside the scene.
