Super work once again Stephen, those old gnarled trees work very well. As Dylan has said, the composition is good, with the pathway meandering into the distance. The undulating tree shadow adds to the scene, as does the cheeky little squirrel.

I agree with Linda about the book illustration, Stephen. This is great. Love the way you painted the trees. Fantastic work!

Absolutely superb painting ! Your paintings are certainly worthy of book illustrations or equally in frames on the wall. You shouldn't be thinking of bonfires but exhibitions - get them out there.
