Oh dear, a great pity they had to go, I expect it’s changed the scene and atmosphere quite dramatically. It’s created some lovely light and a focal point, beautifully painted Stephen.

This is excellent Stephen, if they have not removed the stumps t will be interesting to watch them develop new growth as a coppiced root stool. Their will be young tress to ain’t in three or four yrs time.

Quite right Paul, they will reshoot, it's happening already. Unfortunately, we will not be around to see their development but this sort of action has to happen as they could have been dangerous.
