This really is a beauty, Stephen. What size is it?

Shame about the tree's demise, but you have immortalized it. Brilliantly done, too. Incidentally, someone was asking about painting greens on the forum - I hope he looks at this, because this is how it's done: with broken colour and not one great slab of green paint ... You should be giving lessons in painting watercolour.

Real shame about that fine tree Stephen, but surely the Institute would want your painting on display inside? Fine work as ever.

Stephen, this is absolutely beautiful, a delight to the eye! I often think that the beauty of so much of Cumbria gave rise in the past to our English School of Watercolour, with its mists and gentle tints. It can be fierce too of course..... If this is doodling, then please doodle on! I absolutely agree with everything that Robert has said about your work.
