Very old drawing of Zhou Enlai

I was around 26 when I drew this: I had (still have) considerable respect for Zhou Enlai; the drawing is primitive, I'm afraid - but I think I caught him in his very last year, forced to continue working as China's prime minister when he was dying of cancer.

An interesting face to draw if you’re looking for facial structure, excellent!

Excellent drawing Robert.

You captured his gaunt features, shows suffering. Interesting drawing Robert.

Good likeness Robert

Hang on Studio Wall
