Looks windy there, lovely trees with good textures.

No I love this and I think the salt effect has given you some lovely negative effects of leaves and ferns at the bottom. This has energy in abundance. Nice one comrade.

I really like this, Robert, as it has a mistier quality to your more usual work. The salt has worked well, adding lovely textures. Do more watercolours - but then I am biased!

Lovely effect Robert, looks as if the woodland floor is covered with a carpet of wild garlic.

An interesting angle ....... were you up a tree Robert ? Full of vitality and atmosphere.

Was I up a tree, indeed ....... 40 years ago, possibly.......... Up a hill coming down to another one, beyond which was fog; of which we get rather a lot round here. This is near to an area known as Windy Corner, otherwise known as the Humps, or Knowles Farm, at Niton Undercliff, near Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. Don't try to find the exact spot, I'm not keen on accurate topographical sketches....

I think this is quiet successful Robert. I like the effects of the salt and it does look very windy. Nice colours and an unusual composition.

A really vibrant piece, you've captured the windswept feel of the place superbly, Robert!

Watercolour, quarter imperial - I threw a bit of salt at this one; I wasn't familiar with the paper (Fabriano) and have a lot to learn about it. Even so, as an experiment I can live with this ... I sometimes think I should stick to media with which I'm more familiar and comfortable, though!
