I missed this one, Robert, (probably so caught up with the one-liners!). I love this - the juicy acid tones of the grass contrast in a really exciting way with the vibrant blue of the sea. The dark grasses, in the foreground left, balance the painting so well.

Hello Robert , I like the vibrancy of the colours in this painting , it has a lovely loose feel to it .... thanks a lot for your comment on my painting of Ross castle and it would have been great to see the other watercolour you had depicting it from a different viewpoint . It's a very popular scene over here and indeed I sold two versions of it last year it's a joy to paint . Thank you very much for leaving a comment and have a great weekend , Dermot

Lovely work and great galleries Robert

And finally - sadly, a very poor scan: again a postcard size acrylic - a good deal of the contrast has been lost, but you'll get the idea; pity the cliff edge disappeared. Still - I could work this one up into a bigger painting (and so could you, if you'd like to use it: feel free).
