I wish mine would assemble themselves.... actually, you CAN get lucky with skies in watercolour, but you've gone way beyond a bit of bloomin' luck - a superb painting, and I particularly like your treatment of the sea.

Beautiful image! Especially the peach touches.

Wet in wet can be a bit of a lottery, especially in skies! But this is an excellent piece!

Lovely work with the colours and light

This is stunning Bob. Nearly missed it. A superb sweep of the ocean and and beach and with such extraordinarily well positioned light and a divine palette.

Watercolour, 54 x 35 cm. Looking west along the beach at Findhorn on the Moray Firth, with the woods of Culbin Forest on the other side of the bay shown at left, with the masts of the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club in front. Sometimes this kind of sky just 'works', and I was really pleased with this one, which seemed to assemble itself on its own as I watched!
