Never seen a field full Sarah but we do have fields of large poppies which are harvested, this is lovely stuff with some great little figures.

You're right there Sarah! I lived in the Lincolnshire fens for a while and come spring the fields were alight with colour from the daffs and tulips. I like how you have a few more detailed flowers in the foreground.

watercolour on Bockingford paper. There is nothing quite so beautiful as a whole field of Daffodils . The Daffodil pickers certainly had their work cut out this Spring. Each cut daffodil has to be a uniform length too!
