I love snowdrops Sarah! They are the first sign of spring and a promise of warmer days to come. You were really lucky to see loads of them in one place and no wonder they inspired you to produce this lovely painting full of sun.

I doubt there are many that don't appreciate the first snowdrop they see and what it represents. You have a wonderful record of the experience.......lucky you! Great tree's by the way.

Thank you Eva. All my colours are from the Winsor and Newton range and I must say I do have alot of colours in my watercolour box :)

pen and watercolour. I was returning home a while ago and could not believe my eyes!. There were vast sheathes of snowdrops growing along the roadside . Definitely a scene worth recording and this is the result!!!!! As good as it gets with me but I enjoyed a lovely afternoon painting them :) All C&C very welcome.
