I love the textures produced on this paper and the colours are lovely. Did you try altering the quantity of blue in the editing programme for your photos? I'm not much help as I only know the terminology in French, though I don't suppose it's very different. Any way I do love these two new landscapes.

Beautiful painting. love the sky washes.

The only suggestion I have is to try photographing it in natural light; I tend to take mine into the garden to photograph them. The granulation really worked for you here - love the distant detail, the lead in, and that great sky.

Lovely painting, especially like the sky and the way you have defined the buildings, super foreground too.

I love this just as it is. Perhaps you could paint one in bue? Sorry, Rachel, can't give any advice, my photography / technology is worse than yours as you would see from my attempts to post on my portfolio!!! Jx

It's delightful as it is. Very pleasing.

Beautiful work, you know when to say enough and to leave the painting to speak for itself, something so many of us can't say.

This is a beautiful landscape. I like the simplicity of the composition and the strong colours. I can tell you, I sometimes have the same colour-problems with my photographing. I take my pictures of my work in natural sunlight (if there is any!!!), and still, the colours aren't the same, as you can see on my last posting.

A watercolour landscape of a winter's scene. The original of this isn't as blue as it appears here. I had to photograph it as it wouldn't fit on my scanner and cannot seem to get it any nearer to the original than this. If anyone with more photographic expertise has any advice I would be delighted to learn!!
