What a brilliant handling of water colour paints, just goes to show what can be achieved with experimentation. Let's see more experiments please. Your flower paintings are beautiful.

Thank you all for such a positive response! I have had another go with some different colours which gave a landscape feeling. I have put it in my landscape gallery here. Really fun and unpredictable to do!

Such a good idea to experiment, and then have the guts to post the results! Some wonderful colour in this, working so well with the water - keep posting these and keep experimenting: you'll develop more control in time (insofar as you can ever control liquid watercolour) and it will be very interesting to watch.

An experiment......using a palette knife I added pigment straight from the tube onto dry paper and then sprayed with water and let the pigment run and tried to decide what it suggested. I always seem to see flowers anyway so here is the result!
