I like it, I find bridges difficult but this one looks sturdy. I also love the foreground and I think the tones are fine.

Beautiful quality Val very nice

Makes me want to be there lovley Val

Like it Val, the tones seem OK for me, good representation of the bridge, remember going over it a few years ago in my way to Easdale

A great solid bridge, translucent water and lovely textured foreground Val, a beautiful painting all in all.

lovely painting Val the subject is the bridge and you have painted the bridge beautifully I like the line of sunlight on the top and texture in the foreground the bridge really is the star in your painting and that's perfect David Harrison

Beautifully painted Val - and love the colours, especially the fresh greens

Really lovely scene Val. I especially love that pebbly foreground.

Many thanks for your generous comments everyone.

Perhaps a bit more tonality at the base of the rocks but it's a moot point - great painting Val

Me and bridges have history Val.....I can't get on with them but you can! Love the sharpness of the top of the bridge against the background trees. A cracking job Val.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your generous comments Michael, Dermot, Fiona and Sarah, they are very much appreciated.

I love that little bridge Val. You have tackled the reflection in the water wonderfully well. Not easy to do!!! A beautiful watercolour...

Watercolour of the "Bridge over the Atlantic" Isle of Seil near Oban. Seeing it on screen I don't think I've got enough tonal variation in it, what do you think? Thanks for taking a peek :)
