What a glorious subject, Val, and so very well painted, the textures are superb. Thank you for your comment on my tulips.

Beautifully detailed foreground Val, the format lends itself well to the high mountain. Skye sounds a very energetic doggy.

Well I won't be climbing it Val, but what a lovely spot, as so delicately handled in pastel, I must search for mine and have another go.

A lovely part of the world, Val and Slioch is a very imposing mountain...Have visited this part many times and you have really captured its beauty.

Great texture

Thank you for your comments everyone, much appreciated.

Nicely done Val, brings back memories of climbing this hill, love the forms and structure you have achieved, nice one

What a stunner - those hills are alive

Wow, Val.. This is impressive!! Gorgeous! Magnificent!!

Stupendous Val! You've made a great job of describing it's magnificence by adding the foreground tree and rocks for scale. The textures are excellent too. Which one of you reached the top first...bet it was Skye???lol

Imposing and magnificent, superbly captured in all its dramatic scale. Stunning, Val!

That's a beautiful piece of work Val

Thank you Malcolm, Michael, Satu, Seok, Fiona and Dermot. Fiona, it was Skye of course :) She climbed it with my daughter and her dog. My son is the real Munro bagger, unfortunately it's a long time since I've been able to do any climbing.

Another version of Slioch, one of Scotlands Munros, painted in soft pastels. This is the first Munro my dog Skye climbed, she's climbed over eighty now! Thanks for looking :)
