What a lovely, serene painting Val, it looks so peaceful. Beautifully painted with a gorgeous sky.

I like this, Val. A different subject in a landscape, an old wrecked boat that will never float again. Excellent work.

What a beautiful scenery, Val.

An unusual and very effective view point, Val. Love it! So peaceful!

This is the sort of scene that I love to paint, plein air of course. Super work Val, I had missed you.

A super watercolour Val, lovely depth and sky. You’ve done a terrific job of the boat too, half hidden and with lots of character. How is wonderful Assynt Val? Glad you enjoyed your pie.....make the most of it, I heard on the Assynt grapevine that the pie shop is up for sale! Half the locals are likely to starve to death when it goes!!lol

I wasn't sure about this one so I appreciate all your generous comments Margaret, Lewis, Mia, Thalia, Alan and Fiona.

Beautiful painting, Val. Love it. Ah, we are never sure, are we. No need to worry about this one, mainly because you've developed great depth and believability with your delightfully subtle palette. There's so much to enjoy, from your use of the rule of thirds, the very interesting foreground, flurry of gulls and wonderful distant mountains. The boat looks great and is interestingly placed on the wrong side of the fence. Clever! Abandoned indeed. Bri

A wonderful old boat with a beautiful backdrop ! Super.

Sorry I've not been commenting recently but I've been away on holiday. This is a watercolour I did a while back of an abandoned boat near Arisaig. Thanks for taking a peep.
