A delightful painting Val, I feel I want to meander along that path and see where it goes! Very nice work!

Lovely colours and composition Val and love the forground

A lovely piece, Val, with lovely atmosphere and light.

A beautiful painting Val, not too much detail, the hills are lovely and I like those trees very much. Oh and love the texture on the pathway.

Well Val, as you have bought up the subject of detail you could be right, that was my first thought - perhaps the mountains would benefit from softer edges, an easy fix, other than that an excellent little landscape.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. Alan thanks for taking the time to give me some constructive criticism, I really appreciate it. I will now soften the edges of the mountain as you suggest.

Val it is so reminiscent of the old abandoned croft houses in the north west, the colours of the landscape are perfectly done.

thanks Fiona :)
