You have been brave to paint with the weather conditions. It is a lovely pastel. I love the daring colours. Your gallery is growing Val and is beautiful.

Soft pastel on colourfix 30/23cm painted plein air. This is the view from Mellon Udrigle beach Wester Ross in the highlands of Scotland. I painted this whilst sat on the beach on a glorious if rather windy day two weeks ago. I don't do very much plein air painting and found it difficult to catch the sky right as the wind was sending the clouds scudding fat too fast over the mountain and I was having a hard enough job just keeping a tight hold of my board! Good fun though.
