Stunning, Val! There's such an air of calm and quietude about this painting. Love it! Thank you very much too for your comments on my paintings.

As I said on AF - beautiful view which you have captured so well. Lovely painting Val.

Hi Val...haven't seen your work for a while now, I haven't been online much, lately, for a number of reasons, but have posted today. I love your pastel painting, wonderful as always. Rx

Gorgeous colours, Val and a lovely scene.

Very nice Val. Lovely colours.

Hi Val - very nicely painted - got up to the saddle once then lost the path and ended up in a rather scary spot - came down again.......

Like this painting Val,another nice use of colour and composition you have captured this scene which I have painted myself some time ago, but my sky on the day was a rainfilled one, think I like this one better with the lovely sky you have painted so well along with Stac Polly

Hi Val, I've been waiting for your first painting from this years trip into the Highlands....hope the weather stayed dry for you! If this is painting is anything to go by, it did, can't wait to see more, this is brilliant!!

A beautiful sky and calm scene, what more could you ask. I like it Val.

Wonderful colours and texture. Very serene ...... lovely.

Thank you everyone for your generous comments which I really appreciate. Walter, I'm glad you managed to find your way back down again and Graham I'd love to see your watercolour version of Stac Polly. Fiona, I've another one from this years visit in June/July on the easel, an oil of a bay near Achiltibuie which I'll post when I can remember the name of the bay LOL

Well Val just to let you know that I have got round at long last to posting my archive painting of stac polly that you said you would like to see, my interpretation is a bit of a departure from you lovely summer scene, but I was trying something a bit different with my sky etc.

I like this one. Really nice colours.

Another version of my favourite mountain this time from the road. Worked from a photo taken in June on a slightly duller day to the ones taken last year at Mellon Udrigle. C & C very welcome.
