RFA Cardigan Bay - after Turner by Val Kenyon
or alternatively Maritime through the Ages. Soft pastel on Fisher 400. Just a bit of fun really, fancied doing Turners fabulous sky / seascape. Unfortunaltely the photo I had of RFA Cardigan Bay was side on and I wasn't very good at reproducing it half face on. The overall composition isn't very good but I enjoyed doing the rest of it. This will probalbly be my son's Christmas card who is somewhere in the Gulf aboard RFA Cardigan Bay.
