RFA Cardigan Bay - after Turner by Val Kenyon

Wow - your've certainly 'gone for it' in this painting. Nothing shy or retiring about it. Very striking colours and composition. I am sure your son will be deeply impressed.

The ship does appear to be going slightly downhill at the prow but what do I know about ships? I do know it's a fabulous painting; incredible colours and one I'd be happy to look at for hours.

Fantastic colour and a very dramatic sky. I love that ghostly galleon peeking out. The little ship on the right of the background takes the eye to the gorgeous reds. He'll love it !

This is fantastic Val. The colours! It is just like Turner. Many thanks for your comment on my new pic. It is frustrating isn't it? I am in a real grump if I am not doing well with my painting, or even if I am not doing any painting. How I wish I could paint all day! What colour is your hair these days? I am doing a new painting with lots of bright hair (I hope that is how it works anyway!!)
