Only one word to say: WAOW!

Very striking, lovely colours. Good vein work.

Saw this just before going out, thought I would comment when home. Looked and you had gone. This is very striking Val a lovely colour the background is complimentary and very appealling. Very well done indeed. Struggling a bit at the moment - painted a couple of pastels trying to get my momentum back!

Many thanks for your lovely comments.

Another floral masterpiece, well done Val.

Hi Val. re white or orange highlights? I would opt for the orange...thank you for another door comment. I cannot get the blue to display with the true tonal values here, they are far too bright on screen. Then I guess the fully finished painting is a fluke...

Hello Val, Some months ago you send me a comment about a cat painting of mine, after I had admired the skillful paint control in your flower close-ups. Thanks for the inspiration! I mastered somewhat my fear of big sheets of watercolour paper and gave it a go. I am reasonably pleased with my first result, the peony, completed in my teacher's workshop (it's posted in my gallery here). Tomorrow, I tackle another 'giant" watercolour flower. amazing gallery................

Rosalind Grover Really amazed to see your Portfolio in the galley. They are equisite paintings, lucious colours, well painted. I will view some more, and get totally inspired. It may help to lift my painter's 'block'. When I have a few paintings or more completed, I may take that brave step and send them to the gallery. I particularly love the Azalea. Well done.
