Very beautiful work Geoff, love the detail and color you achieve. A wonderful scene to paint. I grew up in Bournemouth Dorset but am now thousands of miles west!

This is a really beautiful and skilful watercolour. What immediately stands out is the drawing - it is spot on! The church tower slightly hidden by the trees is another good compositional structural element ( of which there are many in this painting), to explore and gaze at. <br /><br />Just when you think all your exploration is done you suddenly think...what is that, and it is the ducks! <br /><br />Love this painting in every way! The light and dark is fantastic too.

I love this. now I aspire to be a fast and loose man, but this is wonderfully fresh in spite of being carefully planned with, I suspect, the use of masking techniques. Great work.
