Safe Harbour

Wow! the mooring buoys in all those different positions do give a sense of weight either air-borne or dangling to show their suspension, and the fishing boat interior rib-cage in light blue with the darker blue contrasts and shows stealth as the trawler is in dock! Fine coloursoft and primsacolour painting Peter, well done!

Beautiful Peter. I have been enjoying your artwork. You are clearly very talented.

Wonderful detail in this work. You have done an excellent job.

Superb and all those buoys are great.

Beautifully painted and so much fantastic detailing.

Super work Peter. I love Mevagissey too.

Stunning work that beautifully showcases the details and conveys the atmosphere and feel of the place.

Excellent

Beautiful detailed work

At this time of year ... it looks as though the boats are decorated with baubles!

I found this boat whilst on vacation at Mevagissey, a small village and fishing port in Cornwall, England. I just loved the contrast of the bright red and white fishing and mooring buoys against the dark blues of the fishing boat and reflections. Derwent Coloursoft, Artist and new Pro Colour. F/C Polychomos and Some Prismacolour. Some of the fine detail is done with fine liner pens. Support, Fabriano Artistico. Size 28 x 48 cm. My own reference.
