Three fishermen try their luck downstream from the famous old bridge at Cahors in the Midi region of France. Alkyd oil on board - 18in x 14in As in much of my stuff a certain amount of artitic licence has been applied - The three fishermen are from two separate photos taken by a canal in the north of France and in Belgium - the dog was on a photo of a family group at the Honley Agricultural show in Yorkshire - the spot where they are all sitting was simply from my imagination - the bridge & background however are genuine!
