Another excellent painting, love the expression on Roberts face but I bet I could resist his wares, can't stand fresh fish (appart from tuna steak) even though it's my husbands' favourite food! Great detail, from the boats in the background to the badge on his polo shirt, well done.

Robert is a fisherman from Brittany but works out of Marseilles - a "wow" with the ladies - especially English ladies - he has an easy manner enhanced by his gallic charm - he can persuade even the most reluctant shoppers on the quayside to buy his wares. (ask my wife!!!) Alkyd oil on Daler board - 18" x 14" from a photograph taken of him in action in 2006.
