Alkyd oil on board - 18" x 14" - Two retired fishermen gaze out over the sea near the cliffs at Etretat in Normandy - maybe reflecting on a life on the briny - one of my first attempts at putting a dog into a scene - not specially happy with the result - but you learn from things that don't always go to plan.
